1. Giới thiệu về Bộ môn

Bộ môn Hóa hóa hữu cơ – Hóa dược là một trong những bộ môn nghiệp vụ chính của ngành Dược, chuyên ngành Khoa học dược – Khoa Y, Đại học Quốc gia Tp. Hồ Chí Minh. Bộ môn cung cấp cho sinh viên các kiến thức từ cơ bản đến kiến thức chuyên ngành liên quan đến cấu trúc, đặc tính lý hóa của thuốc, thiết kế thuốc, phương pháp nghiên cứu – phát triển thuốc và tổng hợp thuốc.

II. Quá trình hình thành và phát triển

• – Bộ môn Hóa hữu cơ – Hóa dược được thành lập theo Quyết định số 248/QĐ-KY về công tác tổ chức ngày 05 tháng 12 năm 2017 của Trưởng khoa Y, Đại học Quốc gia Tp.HCM.
• – Hiện Bộ môn có 06 giảng viên; 01 trợ giảng và 01 kỹ thuật viên.

III. Các lĩnh vực giảng dạy và nghiên cứu

1. Giảng dạy

Giảng dạy các môn học cung cấp kiến thức cơ bản về Hóa học (hóa vô cơ, hóa hữu cơ) và kiến thức chuyên ngành Sản xuất – phát triển thuốc / Khoa học dược, bao gồm kiến thức về mối liên quan giữa cấu trúc – tác dụng dược lý, cấu trúc – phương pháp kiểm nghiệm, bào chế, sử dụng và bảo quản thuốc; kiến thức về phương pháp thiết kế, nghiên cứu và phát triển thuốc mới và tổng hợp thuốc. Các học phần thực hành còn giúp sinh viên rèn luyện, trau dồi kỹ năng cần thiết trong phòng thí nghiệm trong lĩnh vực Khoa học dược. 

2. Nghiên cứu khoa học

• Thiết kế thuốc trên mô phỏng máy tính, sàng lọc in silico các cấu trúc có hoạt tính sinh học;

• Phân lập, xác định cấu trúc các hợp chất tự nhiên có hoạt tính sinh học;

• Tổng hợp các hợp chất có hoạt tính sinh học, bán tổng hợp các hợp chất đi từ hợp chất tự nhiên;

• Tổng hợp peptide, protein, glycoprotein. Đánh giá cấu trúc, tính toán động học các quá trình gấp nếp các protein và glycoprotein;

• Tổng hợp và thiết lập các chất chuẩn tạp chất dùng trong kiểm nghiệm dược phẩm;

• Nghiên cứu tổng hợp các hoạt chất theo phương pháp mới, cải tiến các phương pháp cũ;

V. Chức năng và nhiệm vụ

1. Giảng dạy

• Phụ trách và tham gia giảng dạy các môn học ngành Dược: Hóa vô cơ, Hóa hữu cơ, Hóa dược 1, Hóa dược 2, Dược lý 1, Dược lý 2, Tổng hợp thuốc thiết yếu, Nghiên cứu và phát triển thuốc mới.
• Phụ trách và tham gia giảng dạy các môn học ngành Y, RHM, YHCT, Điều dưỡng: Hóa học, Dược lý.

2. Nghiên cứu khoa học: 

Chủ trì và tham gia các đề tài nghiên cứu khoa học trong Khoa Y hoặc hợp tác với các đơn vị ngoài trường, hướng dẫn sinh viên nghiên cứu khoa học, thực hiện khóa luận tốt nghiệp, đào tạo học viên sau đại học trong các lĩnh vực: hóa dược, hóa hợp chất tự nhiên, thiết kế thuốc, bào chế, khảo sát tác dụng sinh học…
